Wine Club Member FAQ

As a member of the McGregor Vineyard Wine Club you agree to purchase 3 or more bottles of wine through a club package subscription, every 90 days. You have the ability to add additional wines, and to customize your club package from our rotating selection of wine options. There is no fee to join the McGregor Vineyard Wine Club, and you may cancel your membership anytime.

Every three months it is time for your next club release. You will receive an email two weeks before your club release billing date to remind you that your next club release is coming soon, and to give you the chance to review and customize your next club package. We will also send you another reminder two days before billing.**

*You can check anytime to see the date of your next club release in your club profile.
**We strongly recommend adding your cell phone number to the ‘personal information’ area of your profile. This is the best way to receive shipping updates as they happen, as well as upcoming club release and reservation reminders.

Club Releases

Club releases are every 90 days. You can see the date of your next club release (and much more) by logging into your account and viewing your Club Membership page in your member profile.

First, log into your Club Account and visit the Club Membership section of your profile. You can see your club memberships here. It should look like this – click “Edit Wines”

Next you can scroll the list of available wines, adding and removing them as you go. A minimum of three bottles is required. Shipping is free if you decide to order 12 bottles.

Finally you can review your choices before you click “Save Selections”:

This page also gives you a chance to review your credit card and Shipping/Pickup preferences. Make any changes you’d like now. That’s it!

Picking up your club releases is the most fun and cost effective way to receive your wines. We love it when you make your complimentary member reservation so that we can prepare your pickups before your arrival.

You don’t have to pick up your wines right away – we are happy to hold them at the winery for 6 months after your order is created. As time goes on, if you haven’t picked up your wines we will periodically send a friendly reminder. Any order that was set for pickup can be shipped anytime if you aren’t able to visit. 

Visit your Club Membership Profile and have a look at your club. If your wine shows “Shipping Address” with a name and address, your current setting is for your club releases to ship to that location.

To change that preference to have your wines held for pickup at the winery, click “CHANGE” and then “Change to Pickup”.

Visit your Club Membership Profile and have a look at your club. If your wine shows “Pickup Location – McGregor Vineyard” your current setting is for your club releases to be held at the winery.

To change that preference to have your wine instead shipped, click “CHANGE” and then “Change to Shipping”.

You will be prompted to select a saved shipping address or to add a new one. Update the address and click “Update Membership”. Update complete!

You will be prompted with your current shipping address. Click “Change to Pickup” and then click “Update Membership”. Update complete!

The cost to ship your club back is $15 per package. Each package can hold up to 12 bottles. Club pack shipping is free on each 12 bottle order!

Club pack shipping is discounted from our regular shipping rate of $25 per package. The discounted club pack shipping rate makes it a great time to order extra wine.

We can almost always send something extra – email or text us! So long as you meet your three bottle club wine requirement, we can add on anything else that you would like. The extra wines will not be 25% off like your club release wines, but they will receive your standard member discounts that are based on quantity. (For example, if you have three bottles in your club release and you ask us to add three more that are not club choices, those extra wines receive the member 6 bottle discount of 15% off)

Any requested additions or changes to your club release must be submitted at least 3 days before your club release process date.

We can ship your wines together. All club orders ship for $15 per package. We can easily combine multiple club orders into one shipment so that they can all ship for just that $15 fee.

We can also add other wines (such as wine futures orders) to your outgoing packages to take advantage of available space in an outgoing shipment box. We love to get creative and will always find ways to make this easy and cost effective – reach out and we can always remind you what wines we owe you and how much it would cost to have it sent right away.

Let's Talk about Shipping

Your wine shipments need to be signed for somebody who is 21 years of age or older. It will ship via UPS Ground – if nobody is available to sign for your wine package UPS will make a total of three attempts before your package is returned to us at the winery. UPS cannot provide or guarantee a time of delivery. If your package is returned, a fee will apply to resend your wines.

If you cannot regularly be available at your home address to sign for your wine shipment, we recommend a few other options:

Send it to your workplace. This is a good option since most workplaces have staff available during the day to accept packages at a receiving area. 

Send it to a family member, friend, or neighbor who is also regularly available to sign for packages.

Send it to a UPS Access Location

UPS Access Locations are an exciting and convenient delivery option! You can have a look at a big list of potential delivery locations near you at https://www.ups.com/dropoff/. Anything that is not listed as a “UPS Dropbox” is a place we can send your shipments.

These Access Locations are an especially useful option because a very wide variety of local stores like Walgreens and CVS are open later and can hold your package for evening pickup in a convenient location.

It shouldn’t be! We recommend leaving your club release preference to ‘Pickup’ instead of ‘Ship’. This way you know that you won’t receive unexpected shipments. At your request we can ship your wines anytime you’d like.

You can add your cell phone number by visiting your profile here. Using your cell phone number is the best way to receive shipping updates, as well as upcoming club release and reservation reminders.
