The McGregor Vineyard Wine Club is the best way to enjoy our wines year ‘round. With your club membership you can select from a curated selection of our wines every quarter to suit your own taste. Member benefits include free wine tastings for you and up to a total of 6 guests, extra wine discounts, invitation to member only events (Annual Wine Club Picnic, Barrel Tastings, Pickup Parties) and member-only access to special wines, winery happenings.
Winery founders Bob & Marge McGregor are pioneers of growing vinifera wine grapes in the northeast. In the 1970s Bob searched for red varieties that could withstand the often-brutal winter climate of the Finger Lakes, that were disease resistant, and were able to consistently produce quality wines. In 1978, Dr. John McGrew of USDA in Beltsville, Maryland gave Bob scion wood of numerous grape varieties originally imported from Leningrad in the late 1950s and 1960s. Saperavi was one of these grapes and McGregor Vineyard began planting these vines in the spring of 1980.
Today, McGregor Vineyard’s Saperavi wine is a benchmark red wine of New York State, earning its status as the must-try, cult favorite wine of the Finger Lakes region.

A visit to our winery is a unique experience, we offer a seated tasting that includes a complimentary pairing plate of cheese, pesto spread, and chocolate with one of the most spectacular views of Keuka Lake. Our experienced staff will guide you through the history of McGregor Vineyard from a winemaking perspective.
Friendly dogs are welcome at our winery, we ask you to keep them on a leash and that they can get along kindly with other visitors.

We are currently open Wednesday – Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
We will seat walk-ins until 4:15pm each day and only if open reservation space is available. Please make a reservation for the best visiting experience.
