2023 Dry Riesling
Fruity, aromatic, and zippy. Citrus, lemon oil, pineapple, mineral and chalk…lingering. Chill well and serve on a scorching hot and humid August day in the Finger Lakes after playing a few rounds of pickleball.
Harvest: 10/10/23 - 4.79 tons, 16.8 brix, 8.2 g/l TA, 3.21 pH
Treatment: Destemmed and pressed. One load of grapes was cold soaked overnight. Fermentation lasted 13 days at 55-59 degrees in stainless steel tanks. The wine was cold and heat stabilized and then filtered. June 2024 bottling.
