2023 Dry Gewurztraminer
Tropical, soft, and polite. Pear, rose petals, spring flowers, banana, ground ginger and a touch of allspice. Sticky BBQ ribs, baked beans, jalapeño cornbread, and this wine!
Harvest: 10/3/22 - 5.48 tons, 19 brix, 9.1 g/l TA, 3.27 pH
Treatment: Destemmed and pressed. Fermentation lasted 23 days at 54-59 degrees. The wine was cold and heat stabilized and then filtered. June 2024 bottling.
Current Stats: 8.2 g/l TA, 3.30 pH, 0.1% RS, 12.5% ABV
