This vintage is a brilliant light salmon pink wine with aromas of tart cherry, rhubarb and a hint of white pepper. This high acid wine refreshes the palate with red fruit forward character, citrus and a lingering finish.
A total of 4.35 tons of estate grown grapes was harvested on November 5, 2019 with 20.2 brix natural sugar, 10.2 g/l TA and a 2.87 pH. The grapes were destemmed, pressed and inoculated with yeast. A cool fermentation at 58-59 degrees lasted for 27 days. The wine is cold and heat stabilized and filtered. It has 12.5% alcohol, 8.5 g/l TA, a 3.00 pH and 0.75% residual sugar. Approximately 240 cases.
