2019 Semi-Dry Riesling
Sorry, Sold Out.
This pale straw colored wine bursts with mandarin, nectarine and spicy aromas. These aromas combine with candied orange rind, peach and apricot on the palate. It's a firm, racy, acid-driven wine balanced with a touch of residual sugar and has a nice, long finish. Delicious!
A total of 6.25 tons of estate grown grapes was harvested on October 21, 2019 with 20 brix natural sugar, 9.3 g/l TA and a 2.91 pH. The grapes were destemmed, pressed and inoculated with yeast. A cool fermentation at 56-58 degrees lasted for 41 days. The wine is cold and heat stabilized and filtered. It has 12.1% alcohol, 9.2 g/l TA, a 2.80 pH and 1.5% residual sugar. 259 cases were produced.
